Cover
Cover design features a woman relaxing outside on a bench with her snugly hand knit socks on. The socks represent one of the more classic options in the book. The title treatment is simple and elegant. It is situated in a block with a stitched edge. The stitched edge reflects the knit pattern on the socks.
Interior Spreads
The title page shows off several socks in the book along with yarn and other materials you will use to create each pair of socks. Each chapter opener features a 3/4 spread image related to the chapter along with a close up of one of the socks in that chapter. You will also notice the stitching on the cover that surrounds the title treatment is also carried through the books interior design. The project spreads include a full page shot of the project along with a flat shot of each sock.
Interior photography
Photography was shot by an in-house photographer and art directed by myself on location and in-house with the assistance of a stylist. Each shot focuses on the socks worn by each model in a lifestyle setting.
